Located in Richmond’s agricultural lands, near the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and only a thirty minute drive to the United States/Canada border. Our location provides convenient access for tour groups and visitors from all over the world. In fact, Lulu Island Winery has been rated as one of the top tourism attractions in the area! Since 2001, Lulu Island Winery (formerly known as Blossom Winery) has been producing top quality Canadian Icewine, table red and white wines, and a great variety of berry wines for all to enjoy. Our winemaker has decades of wine-making experience and his expertise has led to many award-winning wines. All of Lulu Island Winery wines are produced on site, using only the best grapes from the Okanagan and berries from the Fraser Valley. We are dedicated to the production of flavourful and aromatic wines and are proud to sport the Vintner Quality Alliance (VQA) stamp of approval on all of our bottles. Boasting the latest equipment in the art of wine making, our German tanks are custom built, temperature controlled. We are equipped with the latest European bottling and labeling machinery. Bottling is conducted in a completely sterile environment, and corked under a vacuum, which allows for long storage periods which enhances aging. All of our wines are put through a slow, cool fermentation process that helps bring out the natural flavours of the fruit, whether it is grapes, blueberries or even raspberries.
