Bella is a sparkling wine house capturing the beauty of British Columbia fruit in every bubble. Focusing on vineyard expressions throughout the Okanagan, Bella sparkling wine is an elegant, genuine expression of the vineyards we source from. Our wines are made in the traditional method with minimal winemaking. We enjoy discovering the personalities that each vineyard has to offer. Sparkling wine, by nature, invokes emotions associated with special occasions. At Bella every day brings little wins, moments of joy, and a life worth rewarding. Why wait?
Deep Roots Winery is located on the high bluffs above the picturesque village of Naramata. It is owned and operated by the Hardman family. Will Hardman, the fourth generation to live on this property, is the winemaker. His father, Bryan, grows and maintains the 21 acres of vineyards. The family has continuously farmed at this location for over 95 years – thus the Deep Roots name. We are very proud of our heritage and the wines we produce. We invite all to visit the winery, enjoy a tasting, bring a picnic and experience the unsurpassed views from our patio and deck. In just its second year Deep Roots was named by the Wine Align National Wine Awards of Canada as top 5 small Canadian winery, 9th best winery in B.C. and 12th best winery in the country. Winning Platinum for Gamay, Gold for Syrah, three Silvers and a bronze in just that one competition. The Deep Roots Gamay was the highest scoring wine out of over 1400 entries.
Genius or madness? Given the trajectory of their post university careers, Miranda + Del Halladay would argue their pursuit of original thinking requires a strong dose of both. Launching Elephant Island Orchard Wines cracked the seal on unconventional winemaking style in BC. Fans and critics alike have their opinion on which camp Elephant Island should be categorized. Eleven vintages later enter stage left: Elephant Island Too - a new brand launched by Del + Miranda. Crafted exclusively from grapes they planted on their home property in 2006 and an old Naramata Bench vineyard acquired in 2013, Elephant Island Too morphed from a desire after 10 years in the BC wine industry to keep inspired and challenged . . . and maybe just a bit from the competitive nature of the two to silence the audience that says they don’t make ‘real’ wine.

JoieFarm Winery was founded in 2004 and is located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the central Okanagan Valley. Beginning from a tiny farm cooking school and guesthouse in the summer of 2003, to releasing our first small 800 case production in 2004, the winery grew to its now 15,000 case production by 2014. Joie (zh-wah) – means “joy” in French, expressing the pleasure and richness that good food and wine bring to life. JoieFarm is interested exclusively in the grape varieties of Alsace and Burgundy which excel in the cool-climate, desert landscape of the Okanagan Valley. Our naturally balanced wines have defined themselves by their freshness and intensity of fruit. We have been a leader in an emerging food and wine culture on the West Coast of Canada and it is our goal to promote and further define the harmony between food and wine in the Okanagan, as well as making sure the wines of the Okanagan Valley help bring to maturity West Coast cuisine, each defining the other, as they evolve. JoieFarm actively promotes the potential of aromatic white wines, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as being the signature of our cool-climate winemaking region. We invite you to taste through our portfolio of award-winning wines in our new Tasting Room and savour wood-fired farm-to-table snacks in our licensed Picnic Area beneath the shaded orchard of Heritage Pear trees.
Co-owners, Tim Watts and Bob Ferguson, first purchased land in Naramata in 1986 and commenced planting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in the Spring of 1987. Our first commercial harvest came from those grapes in 1992. Now entering our 24th vintage we have maintained a “hands on” approach to all the aspects of our family farm winery operations. While several of our vineyards are scattered about Naramata, we also farm a 14 acre block in Cawston, planted to Zinfandel, Syrah and Viognier under the name Great Northern Vineyards. We invite you to come by our tasting room and enjoy the wines made on the Naramata Bench for yourself.
One of the hidden gems on the Naramata Bench, Lake Breeze Vineyards has been producing award winning wines since 1995 with a focus on minimum intervention and maximum natural expression of the grape, vintage and origin. Visit us for a tasting or lunch on our Patio Restaurant with exceptional local inspired cuisine and stunning views.

Marichel Vineyard is a small winery producing limited quantities of fine wine. All our wines are made from grapes grown exclusively on the Naramata Bench. The Naramata Bench in BC’s Okanagan Valley is a unique grape-growing area, unlike any other on wine region on earth. Rich, ripe, full-bodied red and white wines grown at 50 degrees latitude? It happens nowhere else on the planet. The Okanagan Valley contains Canada’s only desert, with hot summers and long, long daylight hours. And, as if Nature intended to make a good thing even better, Okanagan Lake provides a vast thermal sink to moderate the excessively hot and cold temperatures common to arid regions. It’s a “Goldilocks” appellation: not too hot, and not too cold. From both a geographic and winemaking perspective, the heart of the Okanagan Valley is the Naramata Bench. Ideally situated to capture the maximum amount of sunlight, and nurtured by the moderating influence of Okanagan Lake, “The Bench” epitomizes the often claimed - but rarely realized - perfect terroir. The Bench areas closest to the lake, where Marichel Vineyard is located, are comprised of glacial soils laid down over millennia. Our vineyard is planted in sandy and silty loams of low natural vigour. This moderates vegetative growth in the vines while encouraging the vines to bring the fruit to the peak of flavour and aroma.
