Balance is a time-honoured goal in the making of premium wines and working towards balance is a way of life at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery. The Wyse Family - founders of Burrowing Owl Estate Winery in Oliver BC - are devoted to producing world class wines using creative viticulture and winemaking processes that are in harmony with the unique ecosystem in which the grapes are grown.
C.C. Jentsch Cellars is a new family owned estate winery based in Oliver B.C. While our winery is new, our experince in growing premium quality fruit in the Okanagan Valley dates back to 1929. Like many vintners, we believe that "great wines are made in the vineyard", so we are applying all of our farming know-how into producing ultra-premium wines that represent great quality and value to the consumer.
Nestled between McIntyre and Eagle Bluffs, near the southern shore of Vaseux Lake, our 7.5 acre vineyard has grown five carefully-tended varietals since 1997: Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Riesling. We are a mother-daughter team committed to creating small-lot, handcrafted estate wines. Hope you like them!
I believe that each bottle of wine should communicate something distinct, something unique about the region it comes from. It's this dedication to craft and subtlety which has quickly made our red and white wines some of the most celebrated on the Golden Mile Bench - the finest grape growing region in Canada nestled in the Okanagan Valley.
Castoro de Oro Estate Winery’s name and label pays homage to its vineyard’s terroir and the founding of Canada. The 35-year-old (planted in 1980), eight-acre vineyard is located on the Golden Mile and blessed with a unique soil combination and a small lake located at the base of it. This terroir provides an ideal foundation for growing superior grapes and a longer growing season than many other Golden Mile vineyards. Beavers helped to create the small lake during their manipulation of earth and water. And early settlers’ search for gold led to the beavers’ vast contribution to the history of the nation; the then-booming fashion industry’s need for beaver felt and fur ultimately allowed settlers to thrive, formally establish the country, and choose the beaver as Canada’s national animal. Now, deservedly so, the dapper mascot appears on every old-photograph styled label. With a hands-on approach, owners Stella Schmidt and Bruno Kelle facilitate every step of the process, from grape to glass. Featured wines include rosé, white blends Heart of Gold and Heartbreaker, a bold red blend Crimson Rhapsody, pure varieties of white and red wines and a unique style of dessert wine. All of the wines are –always made in small batches from pure South Okanagan, British Colombia grapes. Castoro de Oro welcomes both children and pets to its fun, cozy atmosphere.
Farming a 120-acre estate of pristine South Valley vineyards, Church & State Wines continually push the limits of their terroir and region. They strive to produce wines that over-deliver, and the results speak from themselves: the winery has been named producer of Canada’s Best Red Wine eight times since 2009, and has received countless Gold medals, Best in Class awards and National trophies for both red and white wines. By focusing on the unique terroir of their South Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island vineyards, Church & State Wines continually represent the cutting-edge of what is capable in Canadian viticulture and winemaking.

Desert Hills Estate Winery began with the dream of three brothers. The first to plant Syrah in the South Okanagan, the Toor brothers have taken their learned craft of winegrowing on the Black Sage Bench and have shown the abundance which can spring forth from the desert terroir, an abundance symbolically represented by the tree on our label. Twice winner of the Lieutenant Govenor Award and Twive Winner of the Best Wine in Canada Award.
