Chef Curtis Luk
Mission Kits
Chef/owner of Mission Restaurant in Kitsilano, Curtis Luk continues to help define and evolve the definition of Pacific North-West Cuisine. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Toronto, Curtis takes influence from both his personal experiences with food and from working in kitchens across Canada, notably George in Toronto and Atelier in Ottawa.
After helping fellow Top Chef Canada alumnus Trevor Bird open Fable Kitchen in Vancouver, Curtis continued to explore the various facets of Vancouver’s restaurant scene before opening Mission Kits with sommelier/partner Chase MacLeod. It is at Mission where they continue to serve their interpretation of the quintessential Pacific North-West dining experience, matched with the best wines found locally and beyond. Mission enjoys acclaim not only from local diners, but by other top publications such as the Globe and Mail and EnRoute magazine.
