Amy Richards

Director of Farming, Phantom Creek Estates

Amy’s impressive career was launched after obtaining a Bachelor of Viticultural Science from the University of Adelaide in Australia. Her career spans vineyards from the South Island of New Zealand to Australia and California with a stop along the way for research at the South Australian Research and Development Institute. In 2020, inspired by the Okanagan’s potential to produce outstanding red wine grapes, Amy relocated to Phantom Creek Estates in Oliver. Along with her husband, two young sons, and a crazy dog, Amy loves to travel and looks forward to exploring all that Canada has to offer. Amy is also a director for the BC Grapegrowers’ Association.

As a panelist, Amy will speak to: Industry Trends  ̶  shifting from a supply to demand paradigm.
