As founder and principal of the Artemis Group, Honore Comfort draws on more than 25 years of lifestyle marketing, brand development, and association management experience to provide onpoint strategy, marketing and brand communications, and consulting services to a range of clients across the wine industry. She also holds the position of Wine Industry Executive in Residence with the Wine Business Institute at Sonoma State University where she focuses on strategic planning, program development, and industry engagement.
Honore also served as executive director of the Sonoma County Vintners, the leading trade marketing organization for Sonoma County wineries. Under her leadership the organization launched several significant initiatives including the Conjunctive Labeling legislation for Sonoma County and the Sonoma County Branding initiative. Previously with Foster’s Wine Estates Americas (now Treasury Wine Estates), Ms. Comfort was responsible for marketing leading international luxury and super-premium wine brands to the North American market, including Penfolds, Rosemount Estate, and Wynn’s. Honore’s first role in the wine industry was with a small, family-owned winery in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley.
