Callan started cooking at a very young age selling cookies at her father&#8217;s work which has led to an expansive career in restaurants, winery restaurants, catering companies, bakeries &amp; hotels. She completed a degree in Home Economics in Finland and a 2 year culinary diploma at the Culinary Institute of Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, she finished a 5 year stint at Old Vines Restaurant as Pastry Chef and Executive Sous Chef.\u00a0 Callan currently leads the team at Red Fox Club in Indigenous World Winery&#8217;s 2 floor restaurant.\u00a0 She has foraged her way through the local terroir and promotes modern Native cuisine with respect for the aboriginal First Nation&#8217;s culture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A chef, general manager, motorcyclist, gardener, wino and dog lover.
