About the Winery
In 1972, my grandfather moved to this property to build the home him and my grandma would raise their family in, sketched below. He did much of the construction and improvements to the land himself – a huge undertaking for such a large piece of property – between the countless hours he spent owning and operating his own truck stop restaurant in the Fraser Canyon.
Growing up I spent days out at the farm, watching my grandad take pride in the homestead he had created and learning more about the history of the land. It’s my hope that Homestead Cider breathes new life into this property, shares the beauty of the area with those who visit us, and continues my grandads legacy long after he has passed.
Growing up in Harrison & Agassiz, it’s amazing to see the changes these communities have undergone over the years. Being able to be part of that positive change and bring something new to the community for all to enjoy is what keeps pushing us forward. We can’t wait to welcome you to our homestead.
