Stunning the wine world in 1994, Mission Hill Family Estate’s Grand Reserve Chardonnay 1992 won the Avery Trophy for “Best Chardonnay Worldwide” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London.
Since then, many notable BC wineries have won gold or best in category awards at respected competitions open to international entrants, including Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine & Spirit Competition, Chardonnay du Monde and Syrah du Monde.
