Grounded in the vision of proprietor, Matthew Ruan, the passion of our three partners (Ruan, O’connell and Wang) became a mission to showcase British Columbia’s hidden treasures.
We collaborated with acclaimed winemaker Efi Perel, to develop and refine our all-natural Grapes to Glass process that follows a tradition of excellence – blending old-world techniques with new-world technologies to produce award-winning wines with delicate balance, finesse, and structure.
1st ROW Estate Winery hand-crafts award-winning wines using only the finest grapes grown in British Columbia’s Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys – including the world-famous Black Sage Bench.
