A small-batch organic & natural winery in British Columbia.
We make wine that we want to drink: beautiful, natural, and adventurous. Wine should be honest, creative, unique, and fun. It should make people feel good—without spoiling the planet.
We are proud to be a part of a growing community of responsible makers and consumers around the globe. Together, we place value on products made with care and integrity.
That means respecting and celebrating the unique nature and taste of each grape varietal in every living bottle of wine.
Let the grapes make the wine.
About a Sunday in August wines
Say yes to adventure.
We set out to make more sustainable and healthier wine—for us, our community, and our planet. We seek those who care about the health of our home and respect all living forms (microbes included). We choose to be aware of and take control of where our food comes from.
Our grapes are from organic farms in British Columbia’s interior Okanagan and Similkameen Valley’s and on Vancouver Island’s coastal Saanich Peninsula. These are family-run small-scale vineyards that take pride in being stewards of the land. We farm, lease, and/or manage some of these farms and go to great lengths to work with nature.
In 2021, we bought a 20-acre property on Salt Spring Island and, since then, planted +2 acres of organic grapevines and orchards to put our beliefs into practice on our own soil. We also built a winery facility where we made our 2023 vintage, bringing organic grapes in from our vineyards across BC.
Our wines are alive.
We let the grapes make the wine.
We are stewards of the natural, wild fermentation process.
We do not intervene, remove, or add anything except organic grapes and trace sulphur at a maximum of 30 ppm.
