Farm Gate Winery

Many years ago a whole host of animals made their home at the Okanagan Game Farm, but in time they all ventured off into the world. Now they’ve all returned to their old home to run a winery! But egos clash and visions compete as each animal produces their own distinctive drink. It’s a menagerie of unique and memorable wines!

Perched atop the hills of Skaha Lake just outside Penticton, Farm Gate Winery rests above a heritage orchard with sweeping vistas of Skaha Lake, vineyards, and orchards flowing out from the serene back patio. Its rustic interior speaks to the properties orcharding heritage as does the attached fruit stand that sells iconic and heirloom produce from the Okanagan and neighboring Similkameen Valleys.

Reclaimed from an abandoned orcharding homestead and popular highway fruit stand conveniently located just north of Okanagan Falls off Highway 97, the property has been wholly renovated. The walls now lined with a rich and ever-growing portfolio of award-winning wines. While the wild landscape that surrounds us serves as a constant inspiration and reminder of our wild roots.
