Flower Day Winery

About the Winery

The name Flower Day comes from the biodynamic calendar. Flower Days occur when the moon is in any air sign and are said to be particularly good days to drink aromatic wines. It really started as a whimsical, motivational saying by two friends making wine who also happen to be fond of flowers. We’d often check the biodynamic calendar, only to see that it was a root day or leaf day. These days are not generally thought to be good days to taste wine but we chose simply to say, “Everyday is a Flower Day!” It was our way of staying positive and motivated that we could bring good energy and make every day feel like our beloved Flower Day.

We are dedicated to being the most accessible and educational winemakers we can be. Flower Day will always be a low intervention, quality driven, small production winery with a focus on British Columbia’s smaller grape growing regions.
