Our roots run deep at Hester Creek Estate Winery. Our wines, crafted from old vines planted in 1968, are the inspiration behind our passion for creating an atmosphere of a warm and gracious Tuscan-style hospitality.
In 1968, BC wine pioneer, Joe Busnardo recognized the potential for growing Vitis vinifera grapes on a site reminiscent of the Italian hillsides of his youth. Many of those original plantings have continued to thrive on the Golden Mile Bench. In 2004, BC entrepreneur, Curt Garland purchased the property, and it has been under his stewardship that these vines and the winery have prospered.
