Monte Creek Winery

Nestled in British Columbia’s Thompson Valley, Monte Creek Winery is a family-owned, estate winery dedicated to crafting expressive, cool-climate wines and fruit wines that reflect our land and growing conditions. The winery is owned by Sidhu & Sons, who planted the first grapevines on the property in 2010 and opened the winery to the public in 2015. In 2021 and 2022, Monte Creek expanded with a new production facility and greenhouse, and since 2023 the winery has been proudly certified organic.

We welcome guests year-round, open 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM from November to April and 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM from May to October. During the warmer months, visitors can enjoy The Terrace, our outdoor restaurant, open from May through September. Charcuterie boards are also available during seated tastings.

Monte Creek wines are vegan-friendly, with the exception of our Hands Up White. In addition to grape wines, we produce small-batch fruit wines using blueberries and haskaps grown at the Sidhu & Sons nursery.

All of our grapes are sourced exclusively from our three estate vineyards: Monte Creek Vineyard – located at the winery site, encompassing approximately 900 acres, with 55 acres planted to vines. Lions Head Vineyard – located across the river from the winery, spanning 300 acres with 25 acres of planted vines. Keremeos Vineyard – a 110-acre site with 40 acres planted in the warmer Keremeos Valley, where we grow many of our red wine varieties thanks to a longer growing season—about two additional weeks compared to our Kamloops-area vineyards. A number of our plantings are hybrid grape varieties, which are well suited to cooler climates and help us consistently produce vibrant, balanced wines that reflect the unique conditions of our three estate vineyards.
