Red Bird Estate

It started with a dream many years ago. While traveling through Eastern Canada, visiting wineries it dawned on us: we could also live as winemakers.

It was such a simple idea, but, at the same time, the start of a great dream. We set up to learn all we could about wine growing and winemaking. So, of course, we decided to travel to the old world to experience wine making from the source.

We traveled in France for a year, working in many wine regions and learning as much as we could from the vineyards and seasoned wine makers there. A beautiful and busy travel, it inspired us to continue to pursue our dream.
