Established in 2017, the Truck 59 Ciderhouse quickly established itself as a local favourite in West Kelowna and Okanagan Wine Country at large. The quality of the cider and incredible lake views cemented Truck 59 as a go-to hangout spot almost immediately. For couples with young families the luscious patch of green grass provided the perfect opportunity to allow their kids to run free, while simultaneously taking some time to socialize with friends. The young, hip, and family friendly Truck 59 vibe was born! From inception we had a close relationship with the team of vagabonds at The Hatch Winery. This relationship grew quickly, and when The Hatch Winemaker Jason Parkes moved in next door and started plans to build Crown & Thieves we decided it would be a missed opportunity not to take that relationship to the next level. A marriage of sorts was proposed, and before we knew it we were part of the happy family we call Jason Parkes Customs, which includes The Hatch, Black Swift Vineyards, and our soon-to-be neighbour Crown & Thieves. Much of what we do well can be chalked up to our Head Cidermaker, Adam Potter. Adam’s relaxed nature and creativity have become more than a part of the cider, but has translated effortlessly into the feeling of hanging out at Truck 59. Adam’s dream is to brew beer, so enjoy his cider while you can because he plans to hang his hat at The Hatching Post Brewery on Boucherie Road once construction is complete.
