Valley of the Springs Winery

Located on a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views of Nakusp and the Arrow Lakes Valley of British Columbia, in an area renowned for its natural and developed Hot Springs, is the family owned and operated Valley of the Springs Winery.

Cultivating cool climate grapes on the cusp of an emerging wine region, we embrace the contrast of long sunny days and cool nights to produce crisp and aromatic handcrafted wines characteristic of the unique terroir and climate of the region.

Part of a movement to re-establish the farming heritage that was once vibrant in this area, we have a love of this land, community, and valley. Honouring the farmers of the past, Valley of the Springs Winery is committed to bringing customers an experience that affirms our field to glass vision.

Pioneering commercial grape growing in the Arrow Lakes Valley, proprietors Jody and Brenda Scott added grape vines to the property as a landscaping idea. That landscaping idea sparked a movement that would see the establishment of the Arrow Lakes Grape Growers Society. This society was made up of dedicated farmers and interested citizens alike. The data from the test plots and data loggers compiled by this dedicated group shows that our valley – a valley historically known for agriculture – is suitable to grow niche crops like wine grapes.
