Waldhof Family Estate Winery
About the Winery
Welcome to our vineyard overlooking Okanagan Lake. The vineyard was originally planted by J.W. Hughes in 1928. Our vineyard sits on 56 acres of land of which is 34 are planted. We are proudly growing Chasselas, Riesling (the oldest of which were planted in 1978!), Foch, Gamay Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. In 2025 we also added L’Acadie, Räuschling, Heida, Lemberger, and new Merlot Kanthus plantings.
Sustainability and nature focussed farming practices were never catch phrases; they were a natural approach to farming. That ethos was passed onto Reto and Michelle, who also approach farming with the goal of minimal intervention on our certified organic vineyard.
In addition to the vines our vineyard is home to many creatures great and small. We have set aside a portion of the vineyard to remain in its natural state; a safe haven for our winged and four legged neighbours.
