Cheese and Fine Food Shop with a Licensed Café and Outdoor Patio (seasonal). Guests can enjoy a wine and cheese tasting, or order wine by the glass/bottle with their cheese and charcuterie boards. Fondue nights Fall/Winter/Spring by reservation.
Grate Cheesery is so much more than a cheese shop: it’s a culinary experience. We offer an ever changing selection of International and Canadian cheese, artisanal charcuterie meats and all the accompaniments and fine foods you need for entertaining. Need help preparing cheese and charcuterie for your guests? No problem! Order one of our “grateboards” – a specialty cheese and charcuterie board full of fine cheese, artisanal charcuterie and premium accompaniments.
Our cozy café is fully licensed, with indoor and outdoor seating (seasonal patio – yes it’s dog friendly!). We offer a selection of local BC wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages to compliment our food offerings. Share a grateboard and some wine, enjoy a panini and a coffee/tea, or come in for a wine and cheese tasting. Oh and did we mention our Happy Hour? Now offering a special drinks and nibbles menu every Tuesday-Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm (we close at 5pm).
