About the Winery
Unsworth Vineyards is a family-founded winery located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Established in 2009 by Tim and Colleen Turyk, Unsworth is known for expressive cool-climate wines, thoughtful hospitality, and a deep connection to place. The winery focuses on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, sparkling Charme de l’île, and a range of elegant white and red wines shaped by the valley’s coastal terroir — famously described by chef James Barber as “Canada’s Provence.” Alongside its vineyard, Unsworth offers a welcoming tasting room and farm-driven restaurant that celebrate local ingredients, seasonality, and the simple pleasure of gathering around the table.
