Yoga In Vineyard Followed By A Mediation With A Horse And A Wine Tasting!!!

I’m so excited about this one!! I have collaborated with The View Winery. We will meet to the left of the winery by the picnic tables. We will then walk up the vineyard to the top so we can see a panoramic view of Kelowna, then let the yoga begin. PLEASE NOTE this is a 10-15 min walk and the yoga starts right at 10:00am so please arrive at 9:45am.

We will start our yoga in the orchard overlooking all of beautiful Kelowna, while certified yoga instructor Aleena McKinnon, guides you through a relaxing yoga class.

This class is about relaxing and letting go. We will move very slowly a moving meditation with the breath. Watery, fluid, rhythmic, simple, sweet movements. After the yoga they will bring in the horses while Aleena guides you through a horse mediation.

Horses are extremely sensitive animals, and they realize and understand when we use our breathing to communicate with them. When we meditate, and slow down our breath to a steady rate, we can calm down our judgmental mind and find ourselves at peace with the present moment. It’s here that we can then experience the magic of the horses responding to us. That’s when they tune in to our mindful energy, and a connection is created.

By sharing this meditation time together, and doing nothing but focusing on the here and the now, we open the door to mutual deep connection and understanding. Meditation with horses helps us to become centered, have a clear mind and become focused, where worries and concerns fall away.

After class we will walk down through the orchard to the tasting room where we will have a full tasting lead by The View staff.
