Sandy Leier, a Kelowna native, developed a deep appreciation for the land from an early age, inspired by the Okanagan Valley’s rich agricultural landscape. This passion led her to a winemaking career, spanning 18 years and encompassing international experience across diverse wine regions. Drawn to Laughing Stock Vineyards’ premium sites and small-batch approach, she assumed the role of Winemaker in July 2022. Sandy has since explored innovative winemaking techniques, including the use of amphora and concrete eggs, collaborating closely with Assistant Winemaker Kaitlyn Berendt.
Keira LeBlanc, bio coming soon.
Nadine Kinvig, a seasoned and respected winemaker, celebrates her 20th vintage in British Columbia this year. Her six-year tenure at Terravista Vineyards has resulted in award-winning wines and critical acclaim. Kinvig’s passion for wine began in her youth, leading her to pursue formal education in viticulture and oenology at Lincoln University in New Zealand, following early experience at Okanagan wineries. Her career includes roles at prominent wineries such as Sumac Ridge, Laughing Stock, Foxtrot, Poplar Grove, and TIME Winery. Kinvig’s terroir-driven and innovative approach defines her winemaking style. A dedicated professional, she balances vineyard management and winemaking with raising a family, consistently producing bold and beautiful wines that have earned her significant recognition over two decades.
