Peachland / Summerland / Penticton
When you arrive in Peachland, Summerland, or Penticton, you are greeted with spectacular views of Okanagan Lake and a glimpse of the striking Naramata Bench on the east side of the lake. While the area is experiencing exciting new developments, the region itself is immersed in history with wineries and vineyards over 25 years old. The picturesque rolling hills lead you to delicious Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Rosé, in addition to an outstanding lineup of sparkling wines which will make any occasion a little more special.
The Summerland area is home to three sub-regions (Sub-Geographical Indications) of distinct terroir:
Average growing degree days 1,286 (Penticton), 1,336 (Summerland)
Fertile ice age clay and rich volcanic soils.
