The View Winery Presents Yoga, Essential Oils, Wine, Live Music & Guided Meditation!

This experience is all about relaxation and letting go, with slow, graceful movements synchronized with your breath, evoking a sense of fluidity and rhythm.

Including essential oils in your yoga practice can add layers of richness. In this class I will show you how you can use plant essences to anchor your practice to a specific emotional state. In this class, you’ll set an intention with a suggested oil, enjoy an asana sequence focused on that intent, then meditate with a second scent to seal the effects of your practice.

Use the scents of peppermint and orange to release heaviness and open your heart. Begin with peppermint oil to open your airways and find the buoyancy to float into postures. Wind down with backbends, twists, and a meditation on expanding into joy, led by the scent of wild orange.

As the yoga class concludes, we will ease into a soothing guided meditation, designed to melt away any stress accumulated over the past few months.

Yoga, Sound Healing At The View Winery Followed By A Wine Tasting!!

I’m so excited about this event, boy do we have a treat for you! A morning of delight. I have teamed up with 2 amazing talents The View Winery with their delicious wine & Kayla with here amazing sound bowls. Join Aleena McKinnon and Kayla for a 60-minute journey of Yin Yoga and Sound Bath Therapy.

Sound baths are all the rage in wellness right now, and for good reason. The combination of whale-like echoes, Tibetan bowls, and melodic hums is enough to send anyone into a total trance of tranquility. Often times the experience is passive, with participants cozying up on their backs for meditation while being bathed in vibrations. Sound bath sessions are reportedly good for easing chronic pain and decreasing stress and anxiety. The end results depend on the person—and the bath. Some report feeling energized and balanced, while others are ready for their afternoon siesta.

Yin yoga and sound baths are celebrated for their ability to calm the mind and body. They also come with little movement, as it’s more of a focus on the internal than the external, making it a solid selection for an epic shower of sound. From quartz crystal bowls to a gong, to chimes—different instruments can be played for the duration of certain poses to help the yogi to connect more with the pose.

Sound healing is for the mind, body, and soul. It offers relaxation and deep healing of the nervous system. The power of sound is such that it can alter brainwaves from beta to alpha (relaxation), theta (meditative state) and even delta waves (sleep) and provides relaxation and healing of the nervous system.

Kayla Dickson with -Grow Your Soul. -Sound bowl healer.
Allow her to guide you to a place of peace and relaxation. While playing the soothing sounds of the bowls she aims to lower stress and cultivate overall well being. The frequency of the crystal singing bowls brings us into harmony, with self. Cultivating intrinsic healing, growth and reconnection. She looks forward to connecting on alpha and theta brainwaves states where the divine synergy of body, mind and spirit is possible.
She acquired my education through the Sound Healing Academy based in Los Angeles, California. Currently hold my level 2 certification in reiki. As well as training in pranayama practice’s. Through these wellness avenues she is blessed with the ability to create positive change in our world one healing experience at a time.

This class is about relaxing and letting go. We will move very slowly a moving meditation with the breath. Watery, fluid, rhythmic, simple, sweet movements. After class, we will enjoy some wine and have a change to connect and chat about the experience.

After class we will enjoy a wine tasting or non alcoholic drinks of course.

Slow Flow Yoga In The Barrel Room At The View Winery Followed By Wine & Cheesecake Pairing!!

We’ve got a delightful treat in store for you—a morning of pure bliss. Join me in collaboration with two extraordinary talents from The View Winery, where exquisite wines will dance in harmony with local cheesecake.

In this slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath.

Following the session, indulge your senses in a carefully curated selection of wines expertly paired with delectable cheesecake. As the winery’s historic building boasts over a century of stories, we recommend dressing warmly and bringing a cozy blanket to fully embrace the serene atmosphere.

For the ultimate experience, bring your own yoga mat. However, worry not if you don’t have one—we offer mats for a small $3 rental fee. Secure your spot for this exquisite morning for just $45.00.
