WGBC Recognition Awards Task Group – Call for Task Group Members

Wine Growers British Columbia (WGBC) is pleased to invite industry and member wineries to submit their expression of interest to participate on the WGBC Recognition Awards Task Group.

The purpose of the BC Wine Industry Recognition Awards Task Group is to work in conjunction with WGBC to facilitate the nominations and selection of the three annual award categories.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• To work with WGBC to review and update, if needed, the awards criteria and ensure a fair nomination and voting process for the three awards: Leadership Excellence, Ultimate BC Wine Ambassador, and Master Marketer
• To thoroughly review nominations and vote fairly and equitably on the best nominee for each category to determine the winner.
• To ensure confidentiality of the awards until they are distributed.

Three to four meetings will take place between October and February 2026.

Please provide as much detail as possible when submitting your expression of interest. Task Group members will be selected based on relevant experience, knowledge of the task, and a commitment to ensuring diverse and inclusive representation.
