In this webinar, presented by AIDV Canada, we will hear from Richard Mendelson, lawyer and author of Common Ground: Charting the Future of Napa Valley, who will share his insights and an inside look at how the Napa Valley is confronting the complicated pressures of climate change, tourism, industry cohesion, and changing winery ownership and priorities.

In a comparative approach, Sandra Oldfield, winemaker, proprietor, and now consultant to the BC wine industry, will take us through these topics as they relate to wineries north of the border.

In exploring the regulatory regimes under which the two wine-producing regions exist, along with trends in hospitality and tourism, Richard and Sandra will share their expertise and personal anecdotes so that the audience can gain a deeper understanding of what makes the Napa Valley and the Okanagan Valley similar, and what makes them different.
