Please note, associate level membership is recommended for producers of 100% BC non grape wine. If you are a producer of 100% BC Grape Wine, you should consider the additional benefits of full membership here.

Fill out the associate member application below. Fill in your business details and follow the instructions to issue payment for a one-time enrollment fee. You will need your BCLDB supplier number and Winery Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Brand Winery License Number.
How much does associate membership cost?
Associate members are subject to a one-time enrollment fee of $105.00 due at time of application. Member dues are then invoiced quarterly and based on a schedule of ALL 100% grape and non-grape wine your business sells in BC. The commission is calculated as below:
For example, if you sell 14,000 L and those sales are made up of a majority (more than 75%) of non-grape wine, then you can expect member dues of $500, invoiced quarterly.
How long does it take to get my wines into Wines of BC stores?
Wines of BC store licenses carry wines exclusively from the list of WGBC members. Once you submit your application for membership, your status as a member is pending approval from the WGBC Board of Directors which meets quarterly (approx. June, September, December, and March). When your membership is officially approved you will be contacted by WGBC with information on selling your wines to Wines of BC stores, and those stores will also be notified of your full membership status.
Do I have to be a member of the BC Wine Authority to join?
In order to become a full member with Wine Growers British Columbia, your winery business must also be a member in good standing with the BC Wine Authority. BCWA membership is not required for associate membership with Wine Growers British Columbia.
What are the benefits of becoming an associate member?
The main benefit of becoming an associate member is access to our 21 Wines of BC stores as a new retail channel for your business. Additional marketing, communications, and advocacy benefits are typically exclusive to full members producing 100% BC grape wine. For more information, download our Member Benefits Booklet.
