Request for samples – ‘Roussanne around the world’

Decanter is calling in samples for a feature on Roussanne written by Matt Walls, which will be
published in the September 2024 issue.

If you wish to send in samples for Matt Walls to taste in consideration for this feature, please note
the below criteria and please send one bottle to the address below.

Criteria

• Minimum 85% Roussanne
• Any style (still, sparkling, sweet)
• From any country
• In-bottle samples only, but open to any vintage available
• The wines do not have to be UK available

Delivery

Please send one bottle of each wine to the following address: Matt Walls, 21 Boscombe Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT19 5BD

Please ensure you arrange with your courier to cover all costs and paperwork needed.

Matt Walls will taste all wines received for his research in consideration for inclusion in the feature.
The wine selection for the magazine is limited, however a larger selection will be published on

Please note:
1) Decanter does not pay any charges (Duty VAT, delivery, etc) that arise from shipping your wine. Please ensure you arrange with your
courier to cover all such costs. In many cases this can be done by ticking the appropriate box on the shipment/airway bill, requesting
that the Shipper pays Duty & Tax etc. You risk your wine not being entered if this is not resolved beforehand. Many thanks for your
cooperation.
2) If we do not receive your online form of required wine details via email before the tasting deadline or when the entry reaches
capacity, whichever is sooner, your wine will be disqualified.
3) When wines are tasted, their results will be published in the magazine. We will not remove from publication the results and score of
any wine that has been tasted.
4) Leftover wines may be used in Decanter promotional tasting events. Please let us know if you do not want your wines to be used in
this way.
