VineRoutes’ Restaurant Awards celebrate Canadian restaurants that deliver exceptional food and wine experiences—with a special focus on thoughtful, quality-driven wine programs. These awards honour the people and places that bring wine to life on the dining room floor, showcasing wine lists that are curated with intention, supported by knowledgeable service, and aligned with culinary vision.

This is a national spotlight opportunity for restaurants with outstanding wine programs—particularly those championing Canadian wines. Award recipients are featured in VineRoutes’ digital and editorial platforms, reaching engaged food and wine enthusiasts from coast to coast.

Award Categories:

Regional Excellence Award – Restaurants where at least 50% of the list is Canadian wine.

Award of Distinction – Extensive selections from diverse regions and varietals, with dedicated sommelier service.

Vine Award – Best in Distinction – Premier recognition for restaurants with 300+ labels, sommelier leadership, and breadth across vintages and wine styles.

Deadline to apply: May 31, 2025

Entry fee: $350 per restaurant

Eligibility:
Restaurants must submit a current wine list and dinner menu with complete and accurate information, including vintages and appellations. Please note that private clubs and winery-owned restaurants serving only their own wines are not eligible.
