You will need your BCLDB supplier number and Winery Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Brand Winery License Number. Please note, membership (in good standing) with the BC Wine Authority is a requirement for full membership with WGBC.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Full member wineries for WGBC are subject to a one-time enrollment fee of $105.00 at time of application. Member dues are then invoiced quarterly and based on the volume of wine with 100% BC grape content your winery sells in BC. The commission is $0.10* per litre, with an annual minimum of $100. For example if you sell 2,000 litres/year (222 cases), your annual member dues will be $200 invoiced quarterly.

*Important Note: the Fiscal 2023 Budget includes a one-time reduction in quarterly member dues from $0.10/litre to $0.05/litre. April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

Wines of BC store licenses carry wines exclusively from the list of WGBC members. Once you submit your application for membership, your status as a member is pending approval from the WGBC Board of Directors which meets quarterly (approx. June, September, December, and March). When your membership is officially approved you will be contacted by WGBC with information on selling your wines to Wines of BC stores, and those stores will also be notified of your full membership status.

In order to become a full member with Wine Growers British Columbia, your winery business must also be a member in good standing with the BC Wine Authority. Find out more about joining the BCWA here. If you do not intend to join the BCWA, you can still explore associate membership with us here.
