BC VQA Wines – All Wrapped Up in BC Liquor Stores this December

LOWER MAINLAND, BC – BC VQA wines have the holidays all wrapped up this year with a special holiday promotion in conjunction with BC Liquor Stores throughout the Lower Mainland.
The giving starts with free gift wrap – 6,000 beautiful gold organza bags will be applied to bottles of 16 participating BC VQA wines. A handy gift tag completes the package so shoppers can customise their gifts with ease, making holiday gift giving a cinch. Ten of the Lower Mainland’s busiest BC Liquor Stores will feature these wrapped-up wonders on their shelves beginning December 1st, while supplies last.
Consumers who like to try before they buy can take advantage of 30 different in-store tastings that will occur in various locations of the government liquor stores throughout the month of December. Each tasting event will feature a different trio of delicious BC VQA wines, presented by knowledgeable sommeliers who will guide interested tasters through a flight of BC’s best.
Even vehicles on the road in Greater Vancouver will get a glimpse of the season’s BC VQA merriment as they cruise down city streets and highways. Seven advertising billboards, placed for optimum viewing throughout Greater Vancouver, will use colourful creative to ‘drive traffic’ into BC Liquor Stores where BC VQA bottles can be found in all their festive glory.
