Summer grilling gets tastier this July with BC VQA’s new perfectly paired BBQ marinades
For Immediate Release
BRITISH COLUMBIA – It’s no secret that grilling is a favourite activity for British Columbia residents. Afree gourmet spice packet offered to BC liquor store customers by the Wines of British Columbia will make summer barbecue season that much tastier with BC VQA wines.
Available at a dozen select Lower Mainland BC Liquor Stores throughout the month of July, 12 participating BC VQA wines will come complete with a free packet of delicious wine marinade made by BC’s own Kootenay Spice. The spice blend consists of smoked sea salt mixed with a host of enchanting seasonings, adding an abundance of flavour to virtually any meat or vegetable that it encounters. Marinade time ranges from one to 24 hours, depending on your preference, and either red or white wine can be used as a base.
Consumers are encouraged to act fast, as these summer seasonings are in short supply and high demand. There is no limit to the number of bottles of quality BC VQA wines a shopper is allowed to purchase, so a visit to BC Liquor Stores in July could be enough to stock your pantry with enough seasonings to last the whole summer. Simply look for the spice pack around bottle necks in the BC VQA section and you’ll know you’ve found the perfect BBQ wine.
The free gifts-with-purchase will begin appearing in stores on June 30th and will be available only as long as supplies last.
The proof is in the bottle: BC VQA wines are perfectly suited to summer grilling of all kinds.
