JOIN Wine Growers British Columbia!

Wine Growers British Columbia (WGBC) represents the interests of British Columbia wineries dedicated to producing certified 100% British Columbia grape wine.

Choosing membership in BC’s leading wine trade association is good for the industry and good for your business. Together, we’re stronger!

We would love to welcome you to WGBC. As a full WGBC member, you can take advantage of our marketing, communications and advocacy programming to promote and support of your certified 100% British Columbia grape wine.

WGBC membership is open to any licensed BC winery that is a member in good standing with the BC Wine Authority, and whose most recent fiscal year’s reported BC Liquor Distribution Branch (BC LDB) sales equal or are more than 75% certified 100% BC grape wine.

For licensed BC wineries whose most recent fiscal year’s reported BC LDB sales are less than 75% certified 100% BC grape wine and/or are not interested in being a full voting WGBC member to access 100% British Columbia grape wine programming, a non-voting associate membership is available.

Membership Dues

Full WGBC member dues are based on the volume of wine with 100% BC grape content your winery sells in BC. The commission is $0.10 per litre, with an annual minimum of $100 and based on data reported by the BC LDB and are invoiced quarterly, based on the previous fiscal year. To estimate your member dues, simply multiply the number of litres of 100% BC grape wine you sell in the province of BC by $0.10. For example, if you sell 2,000 litres/year (222 cases), your annual member dues will be $200 – invoiced quarterly.

Associate WGBC member dues are based on a schedule of ALL 100% grape and non-grape wine reported sold by the BC LDB and are invoiced quarterly, and similarly, based on the previous fiscal reported BC LDB provincial sales.
