Winemakers & Viticulturists’ Forum

The Winemakers & Viticulturists’ Forum is an annual initiative by Wine Growers British Columbia, fostering engagement with winegrowers across BC’s nine regions. The forum provides a platform for professionals to discuss vineyard growing conditions, challenges, mitigation techniques, and the unique characteristics of wines from the vintage. Insights gathered contribute to the BC Wine Vintage Report, an essential tool for educating about and promoting BC wine.

In December 2025, BC grapegrowers, viticulturists, and winemakers will gather for the 19th annual forum through regional roundtable events held both in-person and virtually. The format focuses on intimate, region-specific discussions, recognizing the diverse challenges across BC. Rhys Pender, MW, will facilitate four tailored roundtables.
