September 10, 2010 (Kelowna, BC) – The BCWI board of directors is pleased to announce that Mr. Miles Prodan is joining the BCWI as its new Executive Director starting October 4, 2010.
Mr. Prodan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his five-year tenure at the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) where he was Executive Director and, most recently, International Market Development Specialist.
Ms. Josie Tyabji, Chair of the BC Wine Institute notes that Mr. Prodan “has an extensive knowledge of the agri-tourism industry, which, combined with his in-depth marketing and management experience in a member-based trade organization, made him the ideal candidate for this position.
