Sparkling Wine Sample Request – UK arrival deadline

Wines from the America’s Decanter Tasting Panel request:

Criteria for entry

• Sparkling wine from any recognized appellation
• May be either vintage or non-vintage.
• Red, White and/or Rose are accepted 
• Must be produced according to the Traditional or Ancestral methods of sparkling winemaking  (i.e. secondary fermentation in bottle or a single fermentation in bottle)
• Must be on the market at the time of publication (September 2024) – please indicate if the samples submitted have been disgorged earlier for the purpose of the tasting so that they can be tasted/reviewed fairly
• 3 wines per producer maximum  
• Total entries will be capped at 170 wines

Decanter reserves the right to make a final selection to ensure the limit of 170 entries is upheld. Any selection will be an impartial editorial decision. This means some entries may not be included in the panel tasting. However, we will endeavour to taste those wines at a later date and publish notes/scores on Decanter.com or Decanter Premium.

• Online entry form to be completed before dispatching samples 
• Two bottles of each wine entered

Deadline for samples: 17th June 2024

Please ensure you make all necessary arrangements with your courier to cover all shipping and handling costs, as well as any required paperwork (including customs).
