Silk Scarf Workshop at Volcanic Hills Estate Winery

Join us at Volcanic Hills Estate Winery for a 2 and a half hour silk scarf workshop and create a piece of wearable art using the magic art of water marbling. If you can sprinkle cheese on a pizza, and write your name with a pencil you can create magic with us!!!

Our workshop begins with a hands on demonstration of our art. This is your chance to try it out before you create your design. Then each artist chooses their colours and floats the paint one drop at a time on the surface of the water. Using marbling combs, rakes, or stylus to create the design of your liking. Once your design is complete we will print it on your 14 inch by 72 inch silk scarf. This is my favourite part….watching your design be transferred onto a silk scarf! Then you get to take home your wearable, washable art!

D uring our workshop you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting or sparkling juice from our award winning hosts Volcanic Hills Winery. Volcanic Hills Estate Winery is a small family run business established in 2010.

Tickets include all supplies to make your 14 inch by 72 inch silk scarf and a wine tasting,or sparkling juice tasting.

ALL AGES WELCOME! Seriously, anyone can make with this art form.

Battle of The Winemakers

Join us The Modest Butcher on Thursday, February 29th for our second Modest Tribute Dinner of the year, featuring guest winemaker Ryan de Witte of @rustwine and our very own Jeff Hundertmark of @mtboucheriewine going head-to-head in an epic battle between millennial and boomer.
Guests will enjoy a 4-course meal complete with wine pairings as the fellas duke it out for the title of “Tastiest Tipple” as you enjoy the fruits of their labour. As always, expect an expertly curated menu designed to complement the wines from Modest Chef™️ Dan Carkner.

Enjoy Egg-stra activities and a pop-up market with plenty to keep the kids entertained: obstacle course, bouncy castle, scavenger hunt, chocolate eggs, face painting, and more. Vendors on-site offer local shopping while you sip festive cocktails and wine. Don’t miss the digital Easter Bunny for family photos. Follow the bunny prints for all activities.

If you are looking for an Easter egg hunt, Grizzli has you covered. Search for thousands of eggs in and around the property. To participate in the Egg Hunt, you can add on the eggsplorers only, optional add-on during check-out. Limited capacity is available.
